Olympic Games
To this day we still extremely excited watching the opening ceremony of the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games. We remember the sound of the trumpet fanfare and the rocket man that flew over the Coliseum in the background.
But what really left us speechless was the arcade game Hyper Sports. It was one of the first sports games, created in 1984 and based on sports events, where the physical exertion required by each game was unparallel. To the devilish pressing of buttons, precision of movements and almost feline reflexes, you had to add the competition with your friends. In each arcade, there was a score table. The very idea of exceeding your friend’s score and watching his surprise was priceless.
Now that the next Olympic Games in Tokyo are approaching, we challenge you to wear our geek socks and give your all being a true marathon man.
